1. Dry & Dehydrated Skin

Dry skin is a specific condition which occurs when the sebaceous glands are completely inactive or the natural excretes of sebum is minimal. Dehydrated skin is typically the lack of moisture in the stratum corneum. Even an oily prone skin can experience epidermal dehydration, therefore dehydration is a lack of water, not oil. Often, the sebaceous oil activity can still be normal – or even overactive – in dehydrated skin.
